Markbass covers are made of the following materials:
Outer layer: Polyester 600D x 600D PVC
Padding material: PUR Foam 10 mm
Lining material: Nylon 190T PU

The lightness and portability of Markbass products is to some degree negated when 
heavy flight-cases are used. But when the musician transports his gear himself 
(in other words, outside of tour situations where the goods are transported by others), 
Markbass covers are a practical choice: lighter, less expensive, and still very protective.

The ADVANCED series bass strings are made of high quality selected alloy steel wire, wound on
hexagonal high carbon content core by the skilled hands of our master string makers. They are 
designed to give softer touch and feeling, still offering a super string-to-string balanced tone and 
traditional stainless deep, full and precise sound.

Markbass Strings are made at our factory in Abruzzo (Italy), using the best selected innovative 
materials and ultimate quality controls matched with the ancient tradition of master string makers.   
Maybe not many people know that since the past centuries Abruzzo has been the motherland 
of almost all string makers.
The art of string making was born in this beautiful part of the world and many great brands 
in today’s worldwide market can trace their own origins here,  it's a history made of skilled 
hands, hard work, sacrifices and so much genius: typical features of  people from Abruzzo.
This artistry and know how have been exported worldwide as well, offering a superior product 
with exceptional performance, amazing feeling, intonation and reliability!

Our TWINKLE series phosphor bronze strings have a carefully selected mix of copper and zinc, 
adding a dash of extra copper to our 80/20 blend. The trace amount of phosphorous in the bronze 
makes them additionally resistant to corrosion when compared to an 80/20 bronze composition. 
They provide a balance, warm and mellow tone with a refined mid-range presence - delivering 
a natural sound.
