The MB58R series is a further example of how Markbass is always one step ahead in innovating using state-
of-the-art technologies. Once again Marco De Virgiliis with his pioneering soul has managed to create 
this new series of products which, with the use of custom components born thanks to years of experience 
and research Markbass
and the use of revolutionary materials with an eye to the future and the evironment, has really nailed 
the tone and
power versus portability issue.
The MB58R 103 ENERGY-6 features 3x10" Markbass Neodymium custom speakers with 600W of power handling,
and 1" driver with horn. The 3x10” cab design is the mid-way choice between a 2x10” and a 4x10”, and this
configuration reaches its maximum expression in the MB58R product line, offering deeper sound, lightness and
power never seen before. Although it's larger size, it is very portable thanks to the innovative material and
technology used for the cabinet, it weighs only 32.10 lbs / 14.56 kg.

tune the cabinet in a different way, increasing the bottom-end response, and thanks to the material and 
technology used for the cabinet the weight is always negligible, it only weighs 13.55 kg.

Our sets are made using innovative materials, discovered and perfected in our laboratory 
after a long period of research and after being thoroughly tested, thus giving rise to a 
new synthetic product of high technology.

Thunder-reds is a set made with three different types of synthetic elastomer. In the third and 
fourth strings, the density of the elastomeric material is also increased by adding micronized 
metal copper powder during the extrusion phase.
This technological solution allows for the same working tension to have smaller diameters, greater 
volume and sustain than any type of polyurethane and silicone rubber strings available on the market. 
The Thunder-reds ensure fast and stable intonation. Thanks to the metallic powder there is also a great 
slipperiness of the fingers on the strings.
